The mission is simple:

Provide safe, efficient bicycles and services to people who need them for transportation, for fun and for health as a way of building and celebrating our community.

How it begins:

Our first step is to hold on-the-street bike repair sessions, to fix brakes and flat tires, do minor repairs, and to teach others the skills needed to keep the bike functioning and riding safely.

We accept donations of used bicycles and bicycle parts.  Volunteers inspect the donated bikes, and help those who need them to repair and clean them.  Some bikes serve as “parts donors” to make 3 or 4 other bikes safe and usable.  Any leftovers are recycled.  The safe, repaired bikes are for our neighbors to use as transportation to work, to school, for shopping, or for the pure enjoyment of it.

How you can help:

Donate a used bike, in any condition!  Contact us at or leave a message at 845-562-8730
